What is the maximum load-bearing capacity of the plastic suspension clamp?
Everyone knows that the load-bearing capacity of the plastic suspension clamp is determined by several factors, including the materials used, the design of the fixture, and the environmental conditions it will encounter. The plastic suspension clamp we design are usually made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or polycarbonate, so they are lightweight and corrosion-resistant, but their load-bearing capacity is generally lower than that of metal fixtures.
When our company's engineers calculate the maximum load-bearing capacity of plastic suspension clamp, they usually take into account the tensile strength of the material, the geometric shape of the fixture, and the safety factor required for the specific application. For instance, if the tensile strength of the plastic clamp we produce is 30 MPa and it is designed to support a cable with an area of 10 mm², then the theoretical maximum load can be calculated using the following formula:
\[ \text{Load Capacity} = \text{Tensile Strength} \times \text{Cross-Sectional Area} \]
In this case, the carrying capacity is 300N. However, depending on the application and environmental conditions, the safety factor for the use of plastic suspension clamps typically ranges from 1.5 to 3.
